The Guaracy dos Portais Temple is a Guaracyana Unit of the Guaracy Temple of Brazil, whose caretaker is Babalorixá Carlos Buby. As such, and in keeping with its origins, the Guaracy dos Portais Temple is a spiritualist, monotheistic, apolitical, non-profit institution, free from prejudice, legally constituted on December 9, 1988. The Temple’s fundamental objective and commitment is the preservation and full development of life. In a deeper philosophical dimension, the Guaracy Temple recognizes life as the essential expression of the Primordial Light that at some point in eternity was fragmented, giving rise to the world of different forms of reality (Dan Effect).
